At MB Auto Air Conditioning we can provide a comprehensive set of options for the air conditioning systems of any vehicle. Simply select the option that best suits you from the list below and contact us to make a booking.
MB Auto Air Conditioning recommend that you avoid using DIY canisters for a number of reasons:
- the inexperienced would not know how much gas is already in the system and run the risk of over pressuring the system
- when air conditioning systems are serviced and regassed a deep vacuum should always be taken to remove any air/ moisture/impurities that may exist in the system
- DIY canisters can cost the same as a service from a qualified air conditioning technician!
We also recommend that you avoid using any outlet that does not specialise in air conditioning servicing. Just using an automatic air conditioning machine does not check for leaks or faults but you will still be charged for regassing even if all the gas leaks out within minutes of being charged. You'll end up paying twice as much than having the job done correctly in the first place.
Premier Service - £75.00*
The Premier Service is a full and comprehensive service of your vehicles air conditioning system including:
- Complete system inspection and report
- In-car temperature checks prior to the service
- Electronically identify type of refrigerant and impurity check
- De-gas and deep system vacuum to remove all old gas
- System pressure test (usually £25.00)
- System re-gas with new or recycled gas
- Addition of compressor oil
- Full system deodorisation treatment (usually £25.00)
- In-car temperature checks after the service

Gold Service - £50.00*
The Gold Service is a comprehensive service of your vehicles air conditioning system. This includes:
- Complete system inspection and report
- Electronically identify type of refrigerant and impurity check
- De-gas and deep system vacuum to remove all old gas
- System re-gas with new or recycled gas
- Addition of compressor oil
- In-car temperature checks after the service

Note: we use R134a gas, including a UV dye additive, to re-gas your system. If your vehicle requires more than 1Kg of gas then an extra £10.00 charge will apply.

Gold Service (R12)- £70.00*
The Gold Service for an R12 air conditioning system offers the same great service as the Gold Service above. However, we use an RS24 replacement gas to re-gas your system.

R12 to R134a conversion - £40.00*
Since the early 1990s, vehicles have been manufactured to use the R134a refrigerant gas. If you own a vehicle that still uses R12 refrigerant gas (some imported cars use R12 gas), we can convert your existing air conditioning system to use R134a gas. This relatively simple procedure will future proof your air conditioning system for years to come!
NB: the above price does not include the R134a gas.

System Pressure Test - £25.00*
The System Pressure Test is a comprehensive pressure test and fault diagnosis of your vehicles air conditioning system. A leak test will be run on your vehicles air conditioning system using an Oxygen Free Nitrogen (OFN) gas. |
System Deodorisation - £25.00*
The System Deodorisation Service is a comprehensive deodorisation of your vehicles air conditioning system. The evaporator is treated with an anti-bacterial spray that kills the fungus and bacteria that can accumulate there.

Fault Finding
For all other services requiring an MB Auto Air Conditioning technician to visit your premises on a fault finding call, there will be a minimum callout fee of £30.00*. The call out fee covers a pressure test and fault diagnosis of your vehicle's air conditioning system. You can then decide if you wish to proceed with further repairs at this point.

* if your vehicle is more than 25 miles away from the Newbury or Swansea areas, an extra £10.00 surcharge may be applied to the price quoted. MB Auto Air Conditioning will inform you before we visit if this charge applies or not.

The MB Auto Air Conditioning Guarantee:
All re-gas and deodorising services are guaranteed for 3 months from the date of service.
Note: Some of the above services assume there is some gas left in your system to test with and it is possible to run the system in its 'faulty' state. Under the conditions of the EPA Act 1990, it is illegal to vent refrigerant gases (contaminated or otherwise) to the atmosphere. The only way to dispose of them safely is through incineration in special treatment plants.
